How to set up voicemail greetings

Setting up voicemail greetings

From Teams app:

  1. From Teams app, click on the circle with your picture (upper right).
  2. Choose Settings from the options.
  3. Select Calls from the options in the upper left.
  4. Click on Configure Voicemail box.
  5. Click on Record a greeting box. This will call the voicemail system.
  6. Follow the menu prompts.
    1. To listen to your voice messages, press 1.
    2. To change your personal greeting, press 2.
      1. To play and record your personal greeting, Press 1.
      2. To play and record your greeting for when you are away, Press 2.
      3. To exit, press the * key.

From desk phone:

  1. Dial your personal number. This call will fail.
  2. Press the “Redial” button on the right side of the phone. This will re-call into the voicemail options.
  3. Follow the menu prompts.
    1. To listen to your voice messages, press 1.
    2. To change your personal greeting, press 2.
      1. To play and record your personal greeting, Press 1.
      2. To play and record your greeting for when you are away, Press 2.
      3. To exit, press the # key.
