Procedure for replacing a RECD docket (or correcting an invalid Received Date on the case) in the absence of successive status dockets
Create a new RECD docket containing the desired changes to information or documents - this can be done by anyone in OBC.
This step is necessary because deleting a status docket automatically reverts the case back to its previous status, but an error is caused when there is no previous status docket to refer to.
Delete the incorrect RECD docket on the case - this must be done by the owner of the docket record.
This will clear the Received Date on the parent Case, but the inaccurate docket record can now be deleted.
The case Status Date should also be confirmed at this stage.
Finally, the Received Date value must be edited (by any OBC user) to reflect the correct date, i.e. the Docketed date of the new RECD docket.
Items in the case docket list are now correct.
The relevant date fields on the parent case are now correct.
