  1. Restart the iPhone
    • Hold the power button and slide to power off.
    • Turn it back on after 10 seconds.
  2. Check Notifications
    • Go to Settings > Notifications > Authenticator
    • Make sure:
      • Allow Notifications
         is ON
      • Lock Screen
        Notification Center, and Banners are enabled
  3. Check Internet Connection
    • Make sure Wi-Fi or mobile data is working.
    • Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular.
  4. Update the App
    • Open the App Store
    • Search for Microsoft Authenticator
    • Tap Update if available
  5. Disable Focus / Do Not Disturb
    • Swipe down from the top right
    • Make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb is OFF
  6. Open the Authenticator App
    • Sometimes opening the app manually triggers the prompt.

  1. Restart the Phone
    • Power off and back on to clear temporary glitches.
  2. Check Notifications
    • Go to Settings > Apps > Authenticator > Notifications
    • Make sure Allow Notifications is ON
    • Enable SoundPop-up, and Lock Screen alerts 
  3. Turn Off Battery Optimization
    • Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization
    • Find Authenticator and set it to Don’t optimize 
  4. Check Internet Connection
    • Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to test connectivity 
  5. Update the App
    • Open Google Play Store
    • Search for Microsoft Authenticator
    • Tap Update if available 
  6. Check Date & Time Settings
    • Go to Settings > System > Date & Time

  7. Clear Cache (Optional)
    • Go to Settings > Apps > Authenticator > Storage
